Meet Murphy, the Story Dog!
Story Dogs is a wonderful charity organisation that goes around to schools and helps children with literacy problems by having them read aloud to a friendly, non-judgemental, furry friend.
Dr Milan & Karalee Karana Vet Surgery have the great honour of sponsoring Murphy on his quest to help kids as a Story Dog. Pictured here is Murphy with his dad, Simon, and Dr Milan.

Spring is almost upon us and baby birds are already starting to fledge and jump bravely into the world. Here's a guide of the best course of action if you find a baby on the ground. Remember that not all babies need rescuing, sometimes being on the ground is a part of a natural growth and learning phase. Also remember that your scent on the chick will NOT stop the parents from returning to care for it, so don't be afraid to put it back into the nest if you are able.

Bearius was in for his puppy vaccination and snapped a picture with Practice Manager Zach🥰

Have you recently got a new puppy? Or are you planning a new addition?
It’s essential to vaccinate your puppy at the correct times to allow the greatest protection from a variety of serious and potentially fatal diseases, including canine parvovirus, canine distemper virus, infectious canine hepatitis, and infectious canine tracheobronchitis (kennel cough).
It’s important to keep up with the recommended vaccination schedule for puppies as they grow to provide your pup with the best protection possible. If you are unsure when your puppy is due for a vaccination give our friendly team a call 07 3282 7888 to make sure your puppy's vaccinations are on track.
