VACCINATIONS
Start strong. Stay protected.
Recommended Schedule:
- Age 6 - 8 weeks (C3)
- Age 10 - 14 weeks (C5)
- Age 16 - 18 weeks (C5)
- Then Annually (C5)
What they cover:
C3 - Vaccinates against Parvovirus, Distemper and Hepatitis.
C5 - includes the above viruses plus Bordetella and Parainfluenza.

WORMING PREVENTION
Protect from the inside out.
Worming is essential to prevent infestation from common intestinal worms.
Recommended Schedule:
- Every 2 weeks until 3 months of age
- Then monthly until 6 months
- Then every 3 months for life
Covers:
We recommend:
- Cazitel tablets (does not cover heartworm)
- Simparica Trio (covers heartworm)
Both are available over the counter at our surgery.

HEARTWORM PREVENTION
Tiny parasite, big consequences — but easily preventable.
Schedule:
- First injection at 12 weeks
- Booster at 6 months
- Then annually
- Simparica Trio
- Milpro

FLEA & TICK PREVENTION
Comfort for your dog. Peace of mind for you.
Options include:
- Capstar - fast-acting, kills fleas for 24 hours
- Simparica Trio - monthly flea and tick protection (also covers heartworm)
- Bravecto - 3-month flea and tick control
All available over the counter at our clinic.

DESEXING
Responsible care. Lifelong benefits.
We recommend desexing your dog at 5-6 months of age, whether male or female.
Benefits include:
- Reduced risk of certain cancers and infections
- Better behaviour
- No unwanted litters

DENTISTRY
A healthy mouth = a happy dog.
Symptoms include:
- Bad breath

NUTRITION

Puppy guidelines:
- Feed a high-quality dry puppy food (e.g. Delicate Care, Hills, or Royal Canin)
- Large breed puppies need large breed-specific diets
- Continue puppy food until 12 months of age
